If you think nothing special with a blog society --- you’re wrong --- online activity such as blogging in fact has a positive impact in the blogger’s atmosphere. Many bloggers began to create a society of their local bloggers, and even a local till centre govern in Indonesia has given a special concern to the activity of bloggers.
First time ever in 2009 Indonesian bloggers had created a big event in Jakarta, and made especially for blogger; that was a huge event as almost hundreds of bloggers from different provinces attended the event. You may envy if you see the event; as you would not believe how these bloggers --- although they knew each other through blogging--- have created an enthusiastic of activity, and even a new life.
You can find many blogging societies in most provinces or some of big cities in Indonesia. Most of them start their society by an inspiration through a gathering; for instance Bertuah. Bertuah was born on 28 of February in 2009; the first society blogger of Pekanbaru that ever had before; inspired by youths of Pekanbaru and then followed by creating a small structure of organization.
Nothing is spectacular to say about Bertuah at the moment; it’s only a small society, which was started and knew each other through online. However, there is something interesting to talk about regarding Bertuah. Most people who first create Bertuah are very simply people; yet, their mission is attempting to promo the culture of Melayu in nationally and internationally.
Who are behind this society?
There are some very creative people in Bertuah who have participated to build Bertuah from the very beginning till today. Unfortunately, I don’t really know them very well, but the site that the most I visit is Nan Limo who is I assume he’s a very dedicated and intelligent boy. In his very young age; he’s cleverly spent his spare time to create a very interesting blog. Yet, his other interesting creativity is books charity. He’s not just given positive impact to himself, but also many other people as well. What an interesting boy.
I hope more Indonesian youths ---whether blogger or not --- they can more create a positive activity such as NanLimo.
