Online Math Tutor

Posted by Jeng Sri 5 comments
Math is not an easy subject for a lot of people but for others who are comfortable working with numbers it can be relatively easy, straightforward and logical. Lucky for them because most people fall under the first category and struggle with their math homework.

If you are one of these people then maybe you can help improve your grades by getting a tutor to help you with some one-to-one tuition. You can do this the traditional way by hiring someone you know or by responding to an ad where somebody offers their service as a tutor. This involves meeting face to face. However as with almost everything these days you can now hire an online tutor. This has the advantage of being able to get the tuition whenever you want it as you don't have to agree a time suitable to both parties as with face to face tuition.

However one of the best advantages of using the internet for help with algebra, trigonometry or even calculus help is that you can even get free math tutoring online. That's right you can get free math homework help online whenever you want, from the comfort of your own home, school or wherever you normally use the internet.

The Work Of Condensation | The Interpretation of Dreams

Posted by Jeng Sri 4 comments
Sigmund Frued
In my previous post about The Interpretation of Dreams, I mentioned that to compare between the dream-manifest and 'latent' dream-thought we need to understand about the work of the condensantion. There are two imporant things in the dream-work namely condensantion and displacement.

Condensation is the first achievement of the dream-work --- I shall remind you again of what Frued said on his lecture of The Interpretation of Dream on the chapter V in terms of why dream is condensed, he said that "the dream is scant, paltry, laconic in comparison to the range and abundance of the dream-thought".

Let me give you an example of Freud's own dream about Botanical Monograph. Freud dreamed that he was writing a monograph on a species of plant. And he saw the book was lying front of him.

The element of Freud's dream is Botanical Monograph. On his previous days (the dream-day) he saw a monograph species on the species 'cyclamem'. He said that the book did say its spesific, but the botanical reminds him to his works on cocaine, where he had conversation with his colleague Dr Konigstein. Also, the monograph on cyclemen reminds him with his another colleague named Dr R; where the three of them, Dr K, Dr, and Frued had a conversation. The botanical reminds him to his friend's figure who said that Cyclemen was Dr R's wife favourite colour.

The whole of Freud's dream is a condensed version of the latent thoughts lying behind it because the elements that make up the dream are products condensation. Freud's significant different experiences on previous the days had been composited into one image --- the botanical (about he's conversation to Dr R and Dr K, and figure of Dr R about his favourite wife's flower).

So according to this the work of condensation has its functions followed by ;  its selection of elements occuring is seperated from its real object;its formation of new unities (collective figures, compromise figures); its production of mediating common factors.

Thereby, the element of the condensation can have many meanings because it's representing of intersection, and therefore the dream-content turns out to be over-determined.

What You Should Know About Gambling

Posted by Jeng Sri 1 comments
Two things you might think when you heard about gambling: Whether it's going to make you poor or rich. A very view people who play gambling can become rich, in fact reversed it could squander your money; particulary gambling such as online casino gambling is easy to access nowdays. Gambling then become much easier to do from different backgrounds. So, how those very view people could make money from gambling. Well, obviously first is because they might be already  professional in gambling, and the second they're smart in the gambling strategy, and the last is a luck.

I've heard once from a friend of mine who is known as very good poker player, he said "If you want to be the winner in gambling DO NOT GAMBLE". What did he mean by this? But, it's gambling, so we should gamble, right? Right, we should gamble. Think how those very people who could win gambling -- ask them, do they really gamble?

Gambling is not just about gamble, assess 50-50 to win; you can't be a winner in gambling if you're donimnated only by your ambition to win. Neither professional players would win if they only have ambition  to win without thinking a strategy. Considering and concentrating your strategy will lead you to a logic game as the strategy is kind a of statistics,a thereby you'll  be away to gamble. Such as you do a math, you're not going to have a valid conclusion if the premises is wrong. Thus, a strategy is 80 % lead you to win.

If you see an american program where poker players gather in a hall, and they're divided into several parts, from more than hundreds poker players, only not more than 10 people left. I'm watching this program to examine the players, and I concern to players that most good players always very carefully make a decision --- and according to this my friend is right that poker or gambling is not a gamble. You have to think about it: You can't get result 2 from 1+0, you have to think it systematically and psychologically.

This is also put into effect in if you want to gambling online. No matter what you want to play, whether it's online casino, or perhaps you're interested to go Las Vegas for gambling --- always remember, it's not just about that your playing is depending on luck! -- it's all about how good your self-restraint, what else can be winned lay from self-restraint? So not just be a good player but also be smart player!

JengSRI.Com In Association With Amprokan Blogger Bekasi 2010

Posted by Jeng Sri 7 comments
It first started from a small chat through yahoo messanger, I and Ratu --- we usually spent our saturday with chatting, sometimes during the week when I'm free, or when she's online. After quite along we were chatting Ratu talked about a plan of Bloggers Bekasi that they intended to have an event; she then asked me if  JengSRI.Com interested in becoming a sponsor for their event.

I was thinking: "Why not?" --- a positive activity like this should be supported by bloggers, right? So I asked Ratu to send me the proposal for the event. She quickly sent me the proposal by email *a very dedicated committee indeed --- and I told her I would give the answer in three days.

However, as I had been so busy --- I forgot about my promised to her, I didn't even read the proposal -- everything was prepared by my sister in law *it was just for a formal requirement, anyway. After three days, Ratu sent me 'a text reminder', I guess. I then replied her by saying "Sorry I forget, the money will be sent soon".

The following day I sent the money to my sister in law; however, there was some difficulties  in mechanisms in Indonesia --- so another delayed to send the money. However --- everything was finally done nearly the day.

I read  'curcol (curhat colongan)' in Ratu's blog regarding to committee's 'dutty' during the event --- I, you , and we all know, nothing is perfect to be done  in the first job --- what we only see  is how fantastic the jobs you all have done in the event. It was very impresive activity in the story of blogging networks.

Unfortunetely, I wasn't able to attend the event, I just see that the event was succeed. And I know, how difficult it was to work as commitee, particularly if you're doing it for volunteer (or were you, guys?).

Last but not least there is nothing more I can say, except the committee of Amprokan Blogger Bekasi 2010, you all have indeed given your dedication sincerely, and work brilliantly in leading blogger to be more valuable and knowledgable in blogging.

Keep work together, keep discuss every ideas that born, keep inspiring other people --- that's a team, because together we're better.

And  by this I announce that JengSRI.Com is very happy to be sponsor in Amprokan Blogger Bekasi 2010. Welldone guys!

Malahide Castle, Dublin - Westlife

Posted by Jeng Sri 1 comments
Malahide is located about 15 km away from my house. It's one of the famous regions in Ireland. Apart of that Malahide known as wealthy's area, one of the famous place in Malahide is called Malahide Castle. Many famous irish singers such as westlife live in the Malahide's area.

Speaking about Westlife --- I got a little story about this; I've seen one of the Westlife's personnels Nicky accidently when I was on the way to my friend's house in  Malahide on 17 of March --- this actually my second time saw Nicky. My first time when saw Nicky was my first flight to Ireland --- he was with his wife and just 2 seats away back from me. When I saw Nicky in Malahide he was on a small shop buying a bottle of milk; a very unsual phenomena for me --- as I never seen in my entirely life how so low profile he looks like as a famous celebrity.

Though it's not really far from where we live, but I and my hubby rarely go to Malahide. The last time we went to Malahide was about 5 months ago -- after my first visited to Malahide Castle.

Malahide Castle is a very old castle as it's been established for many decades. Malahide Castle's park sometimes used to a concert; the most interesting area when I walked along the way to the castle was the small, and a long path way to Castle --- with jungles of both sides of the paths. Though it was far enough to walk --- I felt not tired walk along away from the front gate to the the jungle, and to the castle.

The great thing of Ireland is its 'grass' --- as Ireland is so green. Most of places in Ireland are so green; even the city, the hills, the villages --- most of places look so clean, peacefull, and again SO GREEN.

Just as other places in Ireland, I see how green Malahide; the beach looks so beautiful with tidy alignment of boats --- smallest to the biggest, everything looks organise very well, makes the place is not just interesting but also inspired.

I wish I could stay forever and die in this country --- beautiful country, very nice people --- the only thing bother me is about the weather, especially when it's winter. Perhaps my hubby's right about one thing that "therefore God creates bad weather in Ireland, otherwise Ireland would be too perfect with a great weather, and make all people want to come to Ireland."

Nothing is perfect, eh?

A Sad Wedding Day | The Interpretation of Dreams

Posted by Jeng Sri 2 comments
Have you ever wondered how your dream processes? In one of the psychological works of Frued in The Interpretation of Dreams explained that our dreams derived from our thoughts; past, recent, and future thought (what you think about future) --- they appear because of what you wish. Later Frued called this that dream is a wish-fulfillment. He argued that every dreams has meanings as they can be related with our past life, recent, and the future.

Speaking of that dreams has a meaning; this is remind me of what my mom always do --- she always attempt to interpret her dreams, and the most of it, she remember her dreams clearly when she awakes. In some cases, people sometimes forget what their dreams about when they awake, however some people can remember it clearly; and my mom one of these people who always remember her dreams quite clearly --- and I just came after her.

One of my cousins was dreaming about me, she dreamed that I was standing beside a guy wearing a traditional of Gorontalo wedding dreass. She told me after a couple of months we had not met each other. She said: "You looked so sad in my dreams, I was thinking you might be not in a happy situation right now".

Just like other people in my country who most of them believe that dreams are a signal of something (Freud also mentioned about this) --- I once believed as most of when they (the people who told me about their dreams) attempted to interpret it --- they trully become dreams come true.

However, I do still believe in the interpretation of dreams --- particularly since I study Freud; they were right -- dreams are symbols to something.

My cousin beliefs about her dreams were a symbol as a warn to me (as she said) --- not to get married soon as I would not be happy with whoever the guy I married with. I felt it was hilarious to this; first I had no  a boyfriend, so certainly I wouldn't be married soon. The second, my life was in the happy life. I was fine.

The fact was I was slight a bit affectedly by her beliefs --- "that it could be right, it might be a warn not to have a relationship right now" .....

How could she dreams about me like that? What kind of thoughts made her dream about me? and the fact was also that we hadn't seen and contacted to each other for a couple of months.

Here is an analysis of my cousin's dreams;

Before she had the dreams, her grandma and her uncle wanted her marry with a guy she hadn't met in her entirely life, and by the time they asked her to get married she already had a boyfriend. She told me about this, and wasn't happy about her family decision. She wanted to tell them about her boyfriend but she's too afraid as she thought that they would not be happy with her relationship. Beside, she didn't want to hurt them with a declanation to the guy as they (grandma and uncle) had been nurtured her since her parents died.

According to this her dream about me was clear; it's a symbol of her own life. Her thoughts in her complicated situations (between her boyfriend and her family) had brought her into the dreams. The wedding dress I wore was her thought that she wanted to get married with her boyfriend, not with the guy who her family had choosen. And my sadness and cried was a symbol of her unhappy feelings with the situation that whilst.

But how could I become on her situs if that a symbol of her complicated life?

To get good result of the dreams interpretation, we need separately each of elements in the dreams. Because dreams can be the latent dreams or the manifest dreams: the dream thought (latent) that derives from our thought -- or in the other words it's called dream-thought, usually dream-thought is distorted.  And the dream manifest (content) is kind a of day dream --- often happens in children's dreams; usually the dreams are about or activities during the day. To understand furthermore between Dream Latent and Dream Manifest, we need learn about the work of the condensation (will be explained on this blog later).

Dreams can be explained psychologically by studying what beyond of each elements given to us. It's not a mystic or whatever it calls. We might not know sometimes about our dreams (dream-thought) --- however, it should be able to sought --- that there must be something related to our life --- and they appear in symbols into our dreams that perhaps we don't know at all.

The Monthly Gym Results and story With The Old Woman

Posted by Jeng Sri 0 comments
--- Just after comeback from the gym, I straight away go to my small office, turn on the computer, and then checking if there is any email for me. I've intended to write a post when I was in the gym ---- before an incident happened in the gym...

I haven't been to the gym so often --- I guess that because my recently flurry makes me so lazy to do an exercise, even just for a walk. Usually I was very dilligent to do exercise, but my brain is kind a switch turn on and off for doing exercise. Especially since my hubby doesn't do excercise i.e. playing football, that's make feel I have no reason to go the gym as well *stupid I know.

Thinking of I've spent my money in the gym for nothing --- and that makes me feel guilty of myself; thus, I decided, and enforced myself that I have to go to the gym today!

Soon I arrived in the gym I asked Nico to do a measurement (I haven't been done my measurement since two months ago), I could see Nico looks so happy to my attendence in the gym again --- she knew already about my lazyness.

I was pretty happy with the measurement results as it didn't like what I was expecting; I was thinking I might get a bit more weight --- fortunetely, the result's shown I still have the same measures as two months ago. Two only things are changes in the measurement, I got a reduction in my arms, about inch --  and ascension on fat body about 2 %. Nico said "No need worry about the ascension of the fat body, it's only a small fat body".

"WELL, I DON'T LIKE IT, NICO" I replied to her.

However, after a small chat with Nico. I soon climbed to the second floor to do my duty. Not many members attended the gym today --- and most of them were seniors (between 40 to 60 ages).

After doing 5 minutes of straightening I then started with the first machine. Just a 10 minutes after --- a senior (age between 55 to 60) said something that I did not really hear it (as the music was so load).

"Sorry?" I asked her
"I follow you, you suppose to change every 30 seconds" She said with a dispointed face.

What?! I said to myself. Did she not see that's depend on the machine's tag? If the machine doesn't say it's done so I won't change it. AND THAT'S THE RULE.
I explained to her that I wasn't finished yet --- and I would move if it's done. But you know what?

She looked not very happy --- and walked away with a face think that I'm stupid!

Nico came over to us when she saw we looked like in a trouble of doing the machine --- I just gave an explanation to a strange stare to Nico and at that woman. "Did you put the tag twice, Sri?" Nico asked me wondering why that woman looks like so mad at me.

A stupid question --- I assume. And I was so lazy to depend myself with an explanation that I'm sure she knew already. So, I just answered "No".

This is the problem if all citizens in a country want to be independent --- I respect that woman certainly -- after and before the incident, I do. If it happened in my country I would be happy to give my machine to her and said "Sorry..." (Though it wasn't my fault at all), but she's not a type of old person like in my country; she's and independent senior, and she knew the rules, she knew.....

Fear - The Human Brain

Posted by Jeng Sri 7 comments
Here is another more information about the human brain that may you like --- I mean what you should know about the brain . You may be find it quite interesting when you read it, as it relate to general human's feelings such as panic, anxiety, stress, etc.

What you should know

More than a thousand of years human's brain have been learnt by many thinkers, and for the last of view years neuroscience learn to how the brain can connect to itch parts, and effected in a behaviour. Brain is the most complicated device in universe as it has multivarious functions in the human life.

Thankfully (I like to say this quite a lot ^__^) to science for their discovery, who is coming out with a stunning discovery about the brain.

For the first time, neuronscientist discovery what goes in the human's brain during their activities such as in the human's sex activity, when we face to fear, anxiety, panic, stress, and also what goes in the psychopath brain.

Their discover is helped by a special technology to foster the neuronscientist's research --- it to help how the brain develop. This technology discover the secret of the brain, it's explaining why we fear what we do; it's helping to a new method to boost the brain power, and detecting all abilities we have inside our head.

In the basement of our head (the back head) there is a part that  especially to connect other reptiles in our body and brain, and that keep us a life called brain stem, this is a particular of functions to heart rate, blood presure, etc.

The main part of the brain that processing emotions called the lymbic system, and within the lymbic system are the amygdala --- it's the common centre of our reaction.

And one of the strongest of our emotion is fear --- a primary emotion we share. This emotion is the most effected in the human brain.

How can our brain decrease the fear, or devast it?

They discover that to decrease the fear, it's by trainning the brain. A research has found in the army trainning how the shoulders can adapt to  unexpected situations; whereas the trainining focuse to change their brain --- the reaction of being fear.

In the research found that shoulders who were unable to adapt the situations due to failed to face the fear. The physical trainnings use to less their pain --- and know how to keep focus their brain even in the very difficult situation.

The Introduction Of The Human Brain

Posted by Jeng Sri 1 comments
Have you wondered where your action come from and who is controlled your behaviour? For many hundred years scientist have been studying about what stimulate the human's behaviour. And thankfully for the great works of the scientists; we now know more detail on knowledge the cause of human's behaviour.

Brain is the main function of  human's life. It is how human can develop everything. These days many neuronscientists study how the brain can create multifarious of  human types, e.g. champion human, genius human, Psychopath, even those who are disorders.

But how can brain create different result? For instance, an English art who is briantlly able to skecth an every details for buildings in a city; yet, he only needs 20 minutes to see the city from a tower before he starts to sketch.

We certainly wonder can we have the same brain as those people who have great abilities? If we can, then how? And if we can't, then why can't we?

Studying human's brain indeed is not a simple subject to learn, and certainly need a long, long way to know what actually is inside the human's brain. But again, we thankfully to neuronscientist who studying this keenly.

To know how brain can create in human's behaviour; firstly we need to understand about what brain is. And a spesific area to study about brain in psychology is called physiological psychology.

Brain

Itch parts of the brain has their own roles according to their functions. What does mean by parts of the brain?

As already mentioned earlier that brain has their regions such as fromtal lobe, parietal, spinal, temperal lobe, cerebellum, etc. All these regions are connected to each other and then effect in a behaviour.

The connection of each regions sent electrically (When I'm studying this, I'm thinking how similiar human's brain connection so-called with internet).

A part of brain that result feelings such as fear, anxiety, panic --- these feelings derive from amygdala. A shape of size amygdala can be different in the human brain according to their brains (people  who have brain damage might behave differently with those who do not have brain damage) --- will be explain later on the next post on this blog.

Inside these parts of brain have more than 10 billion cells, and these cells communicate by sending a message through electrical charge (see on the physiological psychology articles about neurons).

Complex Behaviour Of Love

Posted by Jeng Sri 3 comments
This morning, I found an old psychology's article in the bundle of other articles --- it's about evolutionary behaviour of a romantic love, and it's caught my attention instantly.

How do you describe about a romantic love? I'm sure you find it easy to describe this.

My lecture said that romantic love is a state that has evolved to keep people together, to want to have physical intimacy with each other and to believe the other is Mr/Mrs Right even though sequential filtering  means we are unlikely to end up with a 'perfect' partner, rather one that is as good as we can get! Primitive, powerful neurochemicals have evolved to 'fool' us, make us believe that the other is 'perfect'.

Yet, he added infatuation romantic love subsides around 8-10 months. And it is no coincidence that this is about the lenght of the gestation period. Evolved biological impulses change the highs of oxytocin and this change romantic love to companionate love....

What I'm thinking right now is, does he mean that after 8 to 10 months there will be no romantic love at all?

I find many very nice outlooks in Ireland when I walk on the road and see how romantic a couple of seniors walk hand to hand; what kind of this romantic can be called? a romantic love in the late age?

There certainly are many factors that involve if someone is able to keep there's relationship romantic ---- or the romantic love just end up in 8 to 10 months, and change to companioate love. Apart of biological things, other factors are also evoking how the person attract and relate to other people, for instance proximity, similiarity, familiarity, reciprocal self-disclosure, misattribution, etc.

Accordingly, then how can we so be emotionaly at the very beginning when we're in love with somebody? What are things evoking the feeling, or the ego to lead the feelings only to that person? and what things are made them change?

According to this psychologists have explained that this occurs due to evolutionary influences; that people change because of the factors already mentioned above.

Yet, complex behaviour attach from other factors such as innate monotropy, signs of ensuring attachment ensuring survival.

Last but not leat, early relationship forming a template for later attachment relationships. In the other words, if you want to asses how your relationship will be going in the future; then see how your relationship looks like at the beginning.

Ireland For Euro Vision 2010

Posted by Jeng Sri 4 comments

Since I arrived in Ireland I rarely watch Euro Vision --- I can say I’m not interested in it at all. Eruo Vision is a contest program for all European singers. Most country in Europe to participate on this contest --- it’s a quite big contest if I can say.
However, since I coincidently watched the program last week, I then become interested to watch the program.
I actually have met incidentally a famous of Irish singer, and he was also a winner of Euro Vision for two times 1n 1977 (not sure about the year); Jhonny Logan, I met him in Thailand in 2005, in a famous of Irish Pub called Tropichal Murphy, which is located in Koh Samui.
An Irish friend of mine told me about him as soon as when he arrived in the pub. I soon came over and asked him to take some photos of him ---  I wanted to upload some photos of him, but I have problem with the CD. So I may upload in another time.
Now --- I have two reasons to watch the Euro Vision program. First is, I’ve met Jhonny Logan ^__^.  The second is I want to support Ireland for the winner of the Euro Vision 2010!
I support Ireland not  because I live in Ireland, well it’s another reason, but the main reason is because most of Irish singers are very talented and also they’re great in performance. I think therefore Ireland acquires as winners many times in the Euro Vision.
This year, Ireland has their best singer named Niamh. I and certainly whoever support for Ireland will be hoping Niamh can bring the name of Ireland up again in the Euro Vision. Niamh has previously wined the Euro Contest vision 2010.
Good luck Ireland!

Top Ten The Friendliest Country In The World

Posted by Jeng Sri 0 comments
I've found a great information regarding to Indonesia and Ireland. Have a look at this guys.

                         * * * * *

Article source: Lonely planet

You’ve travelled for adventure, romance and culture, so why not to make some friends? Taken from Lonely Planet’s 1000 Ultimate Experiences, here’s a list of places where the welcome is always warm.

Ireland

Centuries of turmoil have certainly taken their toll on the Irish: they’ve been left with a deliciously dark sense of humour and a welcoming attitude towards strangers. That famous ability of the Irish – to find craic (fun times with convivial company) in boom or bust times – means you’re always in for a treat. These days, after the end of the ‘Troubles’, a cautious optimism reigns supreme, infecting the land once again with the sense that anything’s possible.

USA

Blamed though they are for the coming of WWIII, the Anti-Christ, Miley Cyrus, Bruce Willis, monster trucks, rampant street crime, and noise pollution through overloud talking, Americans just take it all in their stride. They know there’s no such thing as a ‘typical Yank’, so you can just stuff your stereotypes in a sack, mister! The USA’s citizens will invariably welcome you and help you get the best out of their country – all they ask in return is for you to leave your preconceptions at home.

Malawi

Malawians describe themselves as ‘the friendliest people in Africa’, living in the ‘warm heart of the continent’. Anyone who’s visited will know that the rare (for Africa) cohesion of the country’s ethnic groups is solid evidence for this, as is the people’s propensity to welcome you into their homes as well as their nation. Malawi is small, poor and without a lot of facilities, but with a greeting like that who needs Western-style comfort?

Fiji

Fijians are generally considered to be the ‘friendliest people on the planet’. And why not? They’ve got plenty to smile about – lush islands, kaleidoscopic reefs, cobalt sea, a wealth of marine life, world-class diving, romantic coastlines, awesome cuisine – and they love to spread the love around. Fijians have a rep for helping travellers feel welcome, thereby allowing you to uncover the best from this sprawling group of islands. Just don’t mention the coup.

Thailand

Southeast Asia’s most-visited country is bound to offer a welter of stereotypes and clichés. Here are some: dazzling islands and beaches; lush and balmy weather; great shopping and great food; the ‘France of Asia’. Here’s another one: ‘world’s friendliest people’. Gawd, not another contender (see Fiji and Samoa). Why bother trying to analyse why the Thais are so easygoing and quick to smile? They just are, and that’s all there is to it.

Samoa

What’s this? Samoa reckons it has ‘the world’s friendliest people’? Hmmm, trouble is there’s no ratifying body for such a claim, meaning the Samoans are up against the Fijians, who also claim to hold the title. OK, enough: let’s settle this with a Googlefight. A search for the phrase ‘Fiji world’s friendliest people’ garners 16,600 hits; the phrase ‘Samoa world’s friendliest people’ reaps 13,800. Sorry, Samoa, the interweb has spoken, although travellers can rest assured that your beautiful country harbours lovely and warm people who will leave a deep and lasting impression.

Vietnam

Vietnam is another country inextricably caught up in Western images and stereotypes: napalm, tormented soldiers, Oliver Stone films… But Vietnam put all that behind it a long time ago and is now on a huge drive to become the new ‘Asian tiger’ economy.  Economy and history regardless, travellers are bound to get a friendly welcome and plenty of smiles in Vietnam.

Indonesia

It’s hard to make generalisations about a country that contains so many different cultures. Still, from laid-back Lombok to the rice fields of Java and the highlands of West Papua, the one thing travellers can safely expect is a wide smile from the locals. Indonesians of all stripes share an innate hospitality and a fascination with visitors, and they always find time to stop, meet and greet. Whether it be spontaneous English lessons with bike-riding schoolchildren, casual banter at streetside food stalls or haggling for batiks, interaction with the locals is a highlight of travels in the archipelago.

Scotland

The Scots have survived English invasion, brutal weather and the pain of having the world’s worst goalkeepers. This fighting spirit against insurmountable odds has left them with an extroverted, buoyant demeanour and a blackly humorous nationalism (you’d want to see the funny side after witnessing some of those goalies). Naturally, this attitude rubs off on travellers – Scots are so loyal they want you to share in the good stuff, too.

Turkey

The Turkish people have an unsurpassed reputation for hospitality. With their heavenly cuisine, dreamy coastline and spectacular historical sites, the Turks know there’s no reason to be secretive. Expect warm greetings, countless cups of tea and plenty of time to sit and chat in this charming country.

How To Think Positive In Your Life

Posted by Jeng Sri 0 comments
Do you realise what is the main problem of a life? It’s what you think about what you’ve seen and felt. You can think negatively or positively to what you’ve seen depends on how your thought analyzes your perception.

But how can we avoid negative perception if what we see it seems negative already?

It will depend on how we usually solve a problem. The more passion you are about your life the more your surroundings give you positive atmosphere.

So is it about passion in life? Yes.

Because passion can give you creativeness in your life; to see different things, to create new things, to communicate with other people, to find ideas; and the last is to keep your life is interesting.

Imagine, how your life will be going if you only have a small interest in your life? Definitely, you will feel somber; no passion and see things negatively.

Life is not just about how you find yourself; it’s about how to create yourself.

Activities

Keep your life is interesting to keep your mind positive by doing some activities such as back to college; this can be good idea if you have enough time; or take a course according to your hobby such as cooking or computer; or something that you’ve wanted to do for so long.

Do different things which you haven’t done before; something that challenge you; it can be a game, or take a new course, sport, and so on.

Just don’t be stuck in one activity.

Ask your family about your ideas, or call your close friend to ask about your new ideas; ask their opinion or if they want to join you.

Positive people

Have you heard if you want to be succeed you need to be around of succeed people?

People who near you could give impact how you behave and think. Though this may not 100%, indeed it affects the way of you think and behave.

It’s not my business

If you can’t avoid from a group of friends who like to talk about other people in a negative way; give your response by saying “that’s up to them”.

Your friends will realise that you don’t like to waste your time to talk about useless things.

Regardless of what already mentioned above; no one else has your power to think about something; it’s all in your thought; you are the master in your home. Your thought have to be strong enough to change the negative things into positive atmosphere.

What Men DON'T Like From Women

Posted by Jeng Sri 4 comments
Still in the topic about relationship, and now I like to talk about one of the great creatures of God, men. Men are the easiest creatures of God that easy to understand. Why? As they generally have simply thoughts more than women --- is there any scientists proven why men think simpler than women?

Or perhaps women are more complicated because women have more hormones in their body to produce; yet, the hormones change the emotions of women’s thought and behaviours? There must be lots of biological explanation on this.

Thus as men have less hormones than women, therefore they are so simple to do and think something.

But how could women still find difficult to get along with these easy species creatures in a relationship? Shouldn’t be much easier to understand men and not to be hurt by them because of something that perhaps just a misunderstanding? And then break the relationship easily?

Let’s see my survey below what men DON’T like from women. The survey was taken from different cultures in different countries. So this result derives from general opinions of men.

1. Nag
Most men don’t like when their partner says the same or different thing most of the time. Don’t expect he listen to what you say while he’s on ‘his worlds’ such as when he watch his favourite programs, playing his favourite game, etc.

If you want to be heard by him, look for good time by saying: “can we talk for a moment?” Get his attention by saying a short sentence rather than talking something that he’s not interested in. Don’t be surprised when you keep trying talking to him and you’re not heard, or even more he may shout on you and saying “shut your mouth up!”

2. Brash
Although some men may like with kind of these women; isn’t better if we know how to manners?

At least don’t embarrass yourself because of what you say or done.

3. Given an order
He’s your partner --- not your servant. So respect shim to get back his respect. If you really need his help, say something that’s not like an order such as “Can you do me a favour?”

4. Shopaholic
I don’t think even a millionaire like to see their wife spending money for useless things. If you want to get his trust to look after both of your financial, show how good you are in saving money, or even your ability to make money.

5. Being romantic front of public
Not all men like to be romantic front of public. So make sure he’s ok when you want to be romantic with him while you both walk on the road.

6. Dowdy
No need to be so tidy in your appearance, but at least people don’t look at you in strange stare because of what you wear.

Nobody’s perfect, and we all know it. It’s all about manner, nothing more. Before we judge and blame something to our partner, why don’t we look back at our self first?

A relationship is about learning, learning about your-self and understanding another person. The more you learn and understand, the more you get along with your relationship. That’s how a relationship should be.

Have a nice weekend.

Two Important Things In A Relationship

Posted by Jeng Sri 6 comments

I’m inspired to write this since last conversation on the phone with my friend in Indonesia (I posted about this yesterday on “Sliding door”; and some bloggers thought it was a post review. Did you read it properly or you just looked at the post in a whole of English writing guys? ^_^).

However, Loved by partner and loving partner is not the priority anymore to keep the relationship goes smooth. Of course love is still important in a relationship --- certainly for those who still believe in love --- and I still believe in love ^_^.

There are many things to be considered in a relationship, and I find some good knowledge about a relationship while I travelled in Asia and Europe. Regardless of the negative or positive  --- I have two important things about so-called a relationship, and here we go:

1.       Love differs to like.

We sometimes find easy to statement our feeling that we love someone. I find many phenomena in Indonesia such as someone just met once and claimed that she/he is in love --- moreover, a wedding is already planned in just a view of months.

What is different between love and like someone?

In country such as Europe people aren’t easy to say ‘I love you’; they think about love is something that a sacral thing; something so deep; something that they need to get along with in a view of years.

Like someone for them is when they think this person is a good person, or might be they see in a specific thing such as body or face. And I think it’s fair enough as it’s in a level of like.

To be in love for them need a long time to know the person; they make sure how the relationship in the like level will get along.

If you go to country such as Ireland, you may feel so nice to see a couple of seniors (around 60 ages) walk along the road hand to hand.

2.       Commitment.

A commitment is the hard thing to decide when we love someone. Why? We first need to considerate what things to do next. A serious relationship will take a deeper step such as a marriage.

And speaking about a marriage both of parties need to talk about every fields that may involve.

Remember, you’re going to spend the rest of your life with this person. Think about the whole things a thousand times. Better carefully than feel sorry ^__^.

3 exciting things to do in summer

Posted by Jeng Sri 0 comments
I’m always excited when summer comes; I’m sure everyone is excited too. Some ideas are already put on my list. Although summer still 2 months to go, but I prefer to make a plan early to make sure everything is alright.

Here are 3 of my ideas about what to do in summer that already on my list:

1. Gardening. I put this on first of list as I’ve been thinking to decorate my small garden since a long ago; I’ve bought some seed of my favourite flowers such as rose and jasmine. Aside of decorating garden, I’m also thinking to buy outdoor furniture such chairs to put on the deck.

I and my hubby have done some works in the garden such as painting the deck and furnished the deck floor. As the weather in Ireland wasn’t really good last year, so we didn’t really do a lot of works in the garden. We hopefully this summer the weather will be great!

As our garden isn’t really big, so we look for the outdoor furniture that makes our garden doesn’t look even smaller. Therefore, size is always matter. Fortunately, some shops online provide the size information; this make us even easier to buy the outdoor furniture.

2. Hiking. I haven’t been done this activity for quiet ages. I might be going to do this in summer for some exercise. In sunny day Dublin’s mountain will be definitely more interesting to do this activity.

3. Travel. I did a long travel about 4 years ago; I might do a short travel or maybe just a holiday around Europe’s country. I have two countries on my list namely Spain and my home, Indonesia. Spain seems still interesting to me for a holiday destination though I had my holiday last year in Spain.

So many my family and my friends ask me when I come home. I just miss them so badly, but the ticket is quite expensive, so I said to them “we’ll see....”, but I still put it on the list and make a plan what to do if I’m in there. Well, definitely a lot of things to do.

I’m thinking to do all those activities in summer. Gardening will be my priority to do in summer as I cannot wait any longer to decorate my garden! I’ve looked up some information regarding to activities above through online and shops in city nearly where I live. As I might need some new stuff for hiking and travel.

Sliding Doors | When He Cheats On You

Posted by Jeng Sri 3 comments
This is a draft post that I wanted to post about 2 months ago. I straight away remember this post when I had a conversation with a friend of mine in Indonesia. We had a conversation for almost an hour by phone; I haven’t been contacting her nearly 6 months --- therefore we talked quite a long on the phone.

Last time I heard from her that she was going to divorce with her husband --- she found out that her husband was cheating --- even worse, he has a child with the woman he cheats with (an usual phenomena which often in Indonesia, eh?); I have nothing to say, I feel sorry for her....

To make her feel better I told her about the movie I’ve seen 2 months ago called Sliding door. I honestly wasn’t interested at all with this movie when I first time saw the movie ---- rarely watch a drama movie --- but then getting interested after a view minutes played.

The movie is about a girl who has a boyfriend and cheated on her; and the story split in two parts: # 1 is the story about her life after she found out her boyfriend cheated on her; and # 2 is the story about her life when she doesn’t find out about his cheating.

It’s a good movie indeed --- after I watched the movie, I was thinking about some of my friends who have similar problems like in the movie; their boyfriends/husbands cheat on them.

I’ve read interesting words somewhere that say: “your biggest enemy is someone who is with you undercover”. We think we already find a true love by marrying him --- trust him, think only him that he’s the only one we adore --- our emotions leads to only to him – only after a couple of months, or years maybe.

Can we say that love is about ego? love is actually about desire as we think about only how satisfy our desires; desire to be loved, desired to be responded, desire to be noticed, desired to be the only he loved, and so on. Love is about always expecting something with someone we love.

Some people get along with their life after their unsuccessful relationship, even sometimes they have a successes life and with their new relationship --- but some people don’t. If you’re on thie latest situation, I just want to say “Keep going....”, Keep your life is interesting, it’s not the end of the world, and your true soul mate out there may be already waiting you ^__*.
