Recoding Data Into Different Variable

Here is my favourite task of data analysis and computing, is to recode data into different variable. The purpose of recoding data into different variable is to change your old data into new (different) variable but keep its original variable.

Go to transform then click recode into different variable (see the table below).

Table 1

And then a  new window will appear (see the table below). In a new window, it will show all the variables, choose one of variables you'd like to recode into different variable. Let's take a variable of satisfaction with life; move this variable by using arrow into the side form; type a new name for the variable e.g. Newsat; as well as the label e.g. Newsatlife; all typings should be done without a space. And then click Old and New values after this step is done.

Table 2

Presumably, you want to change the variable of Satisfaction with life into two groups so what you need to do is go to Range and then fill the the empty box with appropriate values (look to your variable view of data). For example, in my data the satisfaction with life has its value up to five values , namely: 1. Very satisfied, 2. Satisfied, 3. Ambivalent, 4. Dissatisfied, 5. Very dissatisfied. So to devide these values into groups we need grouping these values into two values. Let's sort it the values 1 and 2 into group 1 and the values 3, 4, 5 into group 2.

Thus, the range in the Old Value will be 1 through 2 and the New Value will be 1 and so on. Click add in the form of old ---> new and then click continue. You can also add a missing value.

Table 3

And the output will show its result like the table below.

Chart Editor And Features (2)

A good chart will easy to understand by readers therefore choosing appropriate chart for a variable is also important. Ensure your readers understand what you want to say through your chart; don't leave your reader interpret your chart as this  may lead them to a miss-interpretation.

Ensure to add appropriate colours as well to make the chart doesn't look too bright. Click twice the chart to change appropriate colours; a new form will appear then click fill broder  (see the table below).

Table 1

A good chart tells the information clearly, such as the Y and X axis, the labels, etc (see the table below).

Table 2

Again, always put on your note that different variables will have different charts. Always add appropriate chart for your variable to avoid miss-interpretation from your readers.

DBLN, 11.19-161210

Chart Editor And Features (1)

SPSS also allows us to edit a chart, is by clicking the chart and the new form will appear. The purpose of editing chart is to make it looks nicer and easy to read by readers.

Depending on what features you'd like to add on your chart, e.g. labels, title, colours, depth angle, etc.

There are two ways of editing a chart, such as editing title you can edit it straight away from when you make a chart (see my previous posting on how to make a chart), and secondly, by clicking the chart (see the table below).

Table 1

The example of the table 1 showsthe chart does not have a clear information (see the red signs) i.e. no information what  is the chart about. So we will add soe information for this chart by following the red signs (clicking the features you wish yo change and add). And here is the editing result looks like.

Table 2

Note: Histogram does not use for nominal variables.

How To Make A Chart With SPSS 17 (2)

My previous posting has explained first method on how to make a chart with SPSS 17 (1). The second method can be used if you'd like to include the frequency table and the statistic analysis at the same time with the chart.

Things need to remember is that every variable has different measurement of levels so ensure you don't put different variables in the same table.

The second methods has the same first step when you want to look for statistic analysis see on the previous posting

Presumably, you wish to include the statistic with your chart you then need to click statistic, and then chart, choose a variable and move into the form by arrow, tick display frequency tables then click ok (see the table below).

The new form table will appear after you click ok. Choose the appropriate chart for your variable. Let's take for Gender variable on this example, and choose pie chart the click ok (see the table below).

As the previous steps, a pie chart will appear into the output form (see the table below).

Note:
Nominal variable => pie chart, simple bar chart.
Ordinal variable  => Simple bar chart
Scale variable     => Histogram chart

How To Make A Chart With SPSS 17 (1)

As the previous posting about how to work out appropriate statistic for different variables, SPSS also allows us to make such a chart for research needs. The working of making chart has similiar steps with looking for analysis statistic (see the table below).

However, there are two methods of making a chart with SPSS 17. First method is by clicking the form Graphs then click Legacy dialogs, and then choose the appropriate chart for the variable. Let's take Gender variable in this case. So for Gender variable it will go to either Pie Chart or Simple bar chart.

Table 1

After choosing the appropriate chart for the variable the new table form will appear automatically (see the table below). Go to chart, choose the Simple bar chart for this case the click summaries for group cases and then click define.

Table 2

The new format will appear and requires for next steps. Go to Gender and the move it into category axis and then click continue (see the table below).

Table 3

A Simple bar chart will then appear in the ouput table form (see the table below).

Table 4

This first of method is pretty handy if you want to do some editing for your chart such as putting the title  ( see on the right coloumn of table 2).

How To Work The Statistics With SPSS 17

Frequency and statistics analysis are desirable for the research data in term of its result validity. Each variables will have its own measurement therefore the analysis will be different form each others.

Let's take example for Gender variable to analyse the appropriate data for this variable. Go to Analyse then click Descriptive, and then Frequency (See the table below).

The new form will appear after clicking the 123 frequencies (see the table below). Click a variable you wish to analyse, let's take Gender variable for example. Move Gender variable to the right form with arrow and don't forget to tick the display frequency if you wish to do it, then click the the statistic.

As the previous steps, the last click will bring it to a new form (see the table below). In this new form you will be asked the appropriate statistics for your variable. So because I take Gender variable in this case, the appropriate statistics will be Mode, St Deviation, Variance, and tick display frequency table.

The result of your analysis will be appeared in the output form (see the table below).

Some people exclude the mode for nominal variable on their analysis, so they just put St deviation and Variance. However some people inlude the mode only for Nominal variable. I will suggest to put the appropriate analysis for whatever variable you choose :).

Analysing Data With SPSS Software

SPSS software is generally used by student psychology and psychologist for analysing data for their research purposes. This course normally begin to study on the first year of Psychology course degree. The format is quite similiar with excel so you will find it easy to work with this software.

SPSS has different types of versions; however, they're not quite different functions, for example from version 16 to version 17 . I use the version 16's book while using version 17, it helps me a lot. However, there must be differences between one version to other versions so don't get confuse with the book you read with the spss you work with as there might be some of  on its functions have been changed.

There some of difficult works in the beginning of your first attempts, is when you put raw data. The raw data basically derives from sources of your research therefore you need to structure your raw data into a right form before you put it into SPSS.

When all your raw data has been coded then they ready to put it the SPSS forms. Put your data in a variable view first (see the table below).

When you finish with all the variables and then move to data view. Put all the data codes into this form (see the table below).

Click imgae to view

Whatever you do with data e.g. making chart, analysis statistic, etc, they will come on the output form (see the table below).

What you need remember when you work with your data that these three forms intertwines and whatever you do with your data it will change something to the other forms. This is what sometimes confuse some fellows with their data on their first basic study for data analysis, particulary when they make such as mistake or errors. Always look to these three tables forms everytime you do the analysis.

How English Blog Help To Increase Rank

Some my blog visitors have recently come with a question about how to get a good rank as according to them my rank seems pretty good with no so many comments: so they come with these two opinions: Firstly, I must do a lot of blog walking, and secondly I must do link exchange.

Page Ranking ToolFortunately, neither those two hard works done by me. I wonder myself how come the rank of my blog has increased though there no many comments but the stats history shows its ascension everyday. So here I come with my opinion: English blog has a better chance to increase the rank without blog walking and link exchange needed.

No tricks or manipulation are needed to increase your blog rank; and no hard works either. It's only because my blog is in English. How come English give me a better rank? Well, here my views why English blog has a better chance to increase the rank.

1. English as an international languange.

Using English instead of Bahasa does not mean you don't love your own languange -- oh please I hope you don't think this way, it's a pathetic -- If you go to a blogger forum you will see many bloggers don't really have a good English but they go through with a solution for their blog problems. So English help us in a conversation for a particular purpose effectively.

Through English Blog you have a lot of advantages for your blog to read by people around the world. So not just by people from your home but also all people in this earth. I'm pretty happy to see my blog stats increase everyday and visited by people from different continents.

By using English Blog it brings my blog to USA, Europe , Africa, and also Asia. That's it, how my blog rank increase everyday, they come from different country and different times. 24 hours nonstop from visitors!

2. Easy caught by Google, Yahoo, Aol, etc.

These machine searchers such as Google, Yahoo, Aol and any networks are made originally in English so English will have more oppurtunity to be caught first before other languange.

By using English blog, you don't need to put manually your post in these networks to caught more visitors. The machine searchers will put you together with other English information automatically.

3. Well-known Labels Only

I only putting famous labels on my blog, for example Sigmund Freud, Psychology, Psychoanalysis, etc. These labels are well-know by most people in the world. By putting only good labels you can attract the machine searchers such Google to caught your blog.

Well, I put such a silly label as well like "Diary" or "Resep JengSRI", I do this to keep the enjoyments of blogging activity so that still doing a great fun with my blog.

4. Useful English Post

A useful article does not have to be written in a text book. I hate text book, and most people don't like text book either. So avoid posting in a text book way. Use easy and fun words instead even when you talk about maths.

Many bloggers come with their blogs with different ideas and purposes like for business, champaign, diary, or even just for fun. You can do blog walking or exchange link if you think it's more fun for you  -- making fun with your blog and society online -- and the ascension of your blog rank will follow :).

DON'T and DO In Learning English

Learning English can be easy or difficult depend on how fascinate you are with the subject. If you have have passion in learning English then you'll always want to keep practise in any way to obtain the progress. The more you have passion in the subject the more you obtain the progress.

If you have studied English so long and no progress at all in your studying  then there must be a miss-learning in your study methods. Here are some hints what DON'T and Do in learning English.

1. DON'T Translate. This is the very number one what not to do in learning English. Translating Bahasa into English is so easy to do, by internet, such as Google translation, star translation, etc, you can just type an article in bahasa and then translate it into English. If you want to get better English of your own result then do not translate.

Why they won't help your English better?
As a free tool it won't set up the languange in a good structure, and what you need remember is that every languange has a different structure with other languange, particulary English. So if you translate Bahasa into English it will be significantly different to read by native  English as first it has different structure languange, and the second is because the tool has been setted up for only general vocabulary.

So it's a big mistake if you think a translation will help your English better.

DO your own English. Not confident enough to show your English writing to public? Just writing it for fun then. We're not native English so don't expect to write and speak perfectly like them; just think good is enough. Even if  you're not really good at all. The most important thing is you understand every words you write.

DO have a good dictionary. A good and better dictionary will help your English much better. What I mean by better dictionary is a trust dictionary, such as Oxford. Even better if you buy the dictionary that not translate into your languange. Such as Oxford dictionary or thesaurus will explain what the term of the word you look for and its synonyms as well the antonyms.

DO read English books. Most my native English friends advice me to read English books often. At the start I struggle, but then after view attempts I start to enjoy every words in the books. Don't read difficult texts, read fun books instead such as your favourite fiction. When you get the excitement to read something your brain tells you to keep it going.

DO listen to English native.  The more you listen English native speak the more you understand the difficulty of English words pronouciation. AJ, the founder of Effortless English Club, has come with his great methods: "Try to listen the native english and repeat them often".

There many ways to improve your English. No matter how great is a method to learn English it will not show the progress if you still "cheating" in your study i.e. using a translation. Translation can help you only to translate the languange but not give you an understanding how to use it in a right form.

After all, it's all about passion. Your passion influence the way your learning English. Less passion will bring less improvements, more passion will bring more improvements. So fair enough of points.

What The Inside Love Really Is

Loving and leaving. These two words intertwines in a relatioship. A happy marriage can change to a dissaster when two human beings suddenly change their minds and feelings to their partner. How can we in love and then leaving the love? Can love change to hate? and how?

What does love really about? when you say "I Love You" --- what does really mean? Before I go further to work these three words we see what LOVE does really mean.

Have you loved something deeply, something that make you  love it so much to do it? For example, you love you so much doing blogging? That's it! I Love Blogging because I enjoy so much while typing the words, I love my writings being read because I feel good about it. I love at the front of computer because I just love it.

The LOVE you talk and feel about is a pleasure in your feeling, mind, and body. And tha's it, love gives you PLEASURE for you. So you won't love something if  they don't give you a pleasure.

So the "I Love You" words then can be interpreted as "I love your body, your colour skins, having sex with you, etc" --- anything from him/her that can give you enjoyments and pleasures. If Lacan, a psychoanalysis, defined these three words as "I'm implementing you on my fundamental phantasy".

Though this interpretation seems too rough to define a tenderness of love but I agree in some points of this interpretation. Let's say you love someone because his/her tenderness remind you of your mother for example; so you got your phantasy for loving him/her.

So loving and marriage are a creation of human beings phantasies? I'm afraid it looks like that. What something that can bring us to decide married anyway if not because of dreaming to have a good life with him/her? Is that not all derived from what so-called a dream/phantasy? Having children, having somebody look after you, etc.

Love you for a reason and leave you for a hatred. It seems too dramatic for unhappy ending relationship; maybe we just come by saying "people change" instead of "I'm bored with you". How does that sound?

So there is no such a true love? I love chocolate and I will it as much as I want until whenever or whatever it can stop me from eating it.

Is this enough to answer the question?

4 Type Of Men/women You Don't Marry

"A good man for a good woman" Have you heard of this old fashion? I have sometimes come with this old fashion of philosophy to encourage friends of mine whom in their failures relationship despite I don't take it in account of my own life, however, just wondering that this old fashion is really works for a spirit! And don't tell me that you do believe of this old fashion, or do you?

If there old fashion has been there before, what the new fashion then? Love is just so blind; I can't define this spesifically, only those who are think in deep love can describe this.

Liking, loving, dating, and marrying someone ---- how long you think to know about someone you want to be with --- the distance between liking to loving, loving to dating, and dating to marrying? Well, Let me tell you, 5 years won't be enough to know what inside his/her brain!

But no need to worry if you're in hurry and want to be married soon!, at least you know what type of men/women they are. Here are tips which may help you to look for your soulmate:

1. Men/women who knew too much

Is this remind you of something? Yes! A movie of Alfred Hicthcock. Men who knew too much usually say things what to DO and DON't. They know too much about everything; they think their words more superior than yours as they think they knew this before you. Don't be surprised if someday he/she attacks you in argument with your old story though you never told him about it --- they have any ways to know about you!

2. Men/women with complicated feelings

Has ever someone you like told you he/she likes you but she/he trauma with their past relationship? A kind of teledrama or "Sinetron" thing. They don't know how to tell their feelings with you . Not because they are be carefull with these three words; they are just complicated for their own feelings.

So think how your relationship will be if you begin a relationship with this complicated person. Don't believe in everything is gonna be alright while you know it hurts at the very beginning, believe it will be harder in the end instead.

3. Dictator men/women

Type of dictator doesn't have to be symbolised with a hard person with their rules. They can appear in soft attitude or speak softly. A dictator will think themselves as older and have more experience than their partner; usually they like to give more advice than listen to their partner. "Don't do that, don't do this" is type of dictator words. Being a leader is type of dictator.

He/she threats you as your assistant instead of your partner who can also give you opinion --- he/she will not need to ask your permission to do anything as he/she is the big boss!

4. Surrender men/women

If someone wants to marry you and ask you "I'm not a rich man, neither smart,  I just have small salary with a small house, will you marry me", then you should reply him like this: "Will you have a chance to be a smart man and become a rich man?"

The surrenders consider a relationship is only about his/her dreamy partner --- not future.

You are going to spend the rest of your life with him/her, and yet having kids. Don't be a pathetic that his/her love is more than enough; you both and kids need financial demands to cope your family life. Surrenders won't survive to cope their life mentally and financially. So what will your future life become then? Will your romantic story help your financial demands? I know your answer: Well, it doesn't, but we are happy! Then see until years going and your life surroundings by life demands.

After all, marriage is a big thing as well as having children and we cannot put them as a gamble. To create a good life start from a good thing then you get the whole things good despite you may find it uneasy, but it's a process of a good life --- similiar with the old fashion I've mentioned earlier.

The Analysis Of Little Hans's Phantasies

Hans's anxiety leads him to create a phantasy to cope his anxiety. This anxiety later develops a phobia with horses (will be explained on the next post).  He doesn't choose the phantasies willingly. The purpose of the phantasy is to help Hans to cope his oedipus complex.

First Dream was when Hans was at age 3, 3/4 --- he dreamed that he was at Grumdem with Mariedl (daughter of their landlord), and this dream followed by a phantasy days thereafter. Before he had this dream, he and his father were visiting Grumden weeks ahead. His yearning towards Grumden and his friends has brought into a phantasy.

1. First dream and its phantasy.

Hans had a phantasy of being together playing with Olga, Berta, Mariedl, and Fritzl. The image of being at Grumden apparently remains a memory to Hans henceforth lead a yearning of visiting Grumden again and playing with them.

2. First phantasy: A giraffe phantasy.

Hans described his phantasy to his father: "Last night there was a big giraffe and a crumple one. The big giraffe was calling out as I took the crumple one away from him.  Then he stopped calling out, and then I sat down on top of the crumple one".

Hans's father interpretation: this phantasy as a matrimonial transposed into a giraffe phantasy; it indicates oedipal longings that brought him into their bed (the giraffes).

Freud's interpretation: The sitting on to of was as a triumph for Hans to win his position of his father; he was callenging his father by means call out mommy as many as you want but mommy belong to me.

3. Second phantasy: Crawl through a rope and Smash a window: Breaking the law.
According to Freud this phantasy is the most suitable phantasy after the Giraffe phantasy which I can only interpret this because after his first triumph to take his father position Hans feels brave enough to do further acts with his father. The two phantasies of breaking the law are Hans attemptions against to his father's rules.

Hans still continue his phantasy as symbols of his worlds after these two phantasies e.g. Plumber phantasy and missing the train. They are help Hans to be what he wants to be, such as his worries of having a small widdler, and his Plumber Phantasy helps him to cope this anxiety by a way changing it to bigger one.

It is a complex problem at a 3-year-old when he has to face unclear explanations of his curiousity i.e. regarding mother pregnancy, birth of Hanna, and human's gens. I agree with Freud, that the unclear explanation of his curiosity has evoked to the causes of castration anxiety and its complexity, yet the oedipus complex.

Stop Racism

Racism. Does this word lead you to something? the hate, the anger, the differences toward another person merely because they're different; different colour skins, religion, cultures, nationality, etc.

It's anywhere and everywhere. Even in a place with plenty of sophisticated thoughts, intellectuals, and attitudes --- racism does still exist.

How and why do people racist to others?

Social psychology has their own theory related to this issue, such as theory of social identity, how people often prefer to be in a group with people they consider in the same side; and this usually occures when the in-group see the out-group through their self-concepts, self-image, and self-schema. As well as attribution is part of the ingredients why people racist.

These ingredients seem to me a natural of  human beings as these ingredients are as a protection of our group from outsiders. However, then how these ingredients can develop a racism to outsiders?

Stereotype and prejudice. When these two 'bad' ingredients becomes extreme and slink to our self-concepts, self-image, etc; it will automatically lead to a dislike feeling, and by this the entirely of selfs' aroused to a racist attitude.

Can we stop racism? Yes.

How?

Plenty of ways to stop racism, if you have already a concern to this particular issue then by making a campaign to stop racism can help spread your voice.

And other way is by attempts to know about outsider's profile. There can be something of the ousider's profile that might match to your profile. If there's nothing, learn about your differences from outsider, swap these differences and try to put on your shoes for fun --- how does it feel like?

It doesn't feel right at all when we try to put on someone's shoes to our own feet; but it does teach us that what right for us probably wrong for somebody else. It does teach us to respect the differences in respect manners.

Let's leave someone in the lurch instead of giving someone a rough time. Think about the regeneration what will be if this inherent to them. Please, stop racism.

The Pension

I have never considered how my pre-pension time will be. I'm still 33 yo, not young anymore, and I believe neither too old :).

One of Effortless English Club's members has inspired me about to come up with this topic; when she responded my article about "A Misery Guts Of The Crisis Economic", she added a very inspiring picture on her comment (see below the post).

In Europe country people start to conside about pension at 20's something which I assume none of young people in my country would like to think about pension at their 20's.

Thinking about pension in my country is only for those who work at reign i.e. offical. However, it's not wort my while  to be an official since I was very young despite my mother would be pretty loved it if I could become an official. What on my mind was: "Hell mom, I can't follow your path, living with small salary with an official man, and nothing else you can hope it from his salary except a surrender" --- that was my thought :), and decided to put it down to experience since then.

Beside, I remember once my accounting teacher said that "Not to ever have a dream to become an official (pegawai negeri)". The thing is most everyone in my country is just dying to become an official. Perhaps, they assume it turns out to be a blessing in disguise.

Europe has different law about having a pension -- anyone can have a pension depend on their works, means if someone doesn't have the gost of a chance then they have no chance at all. In the other words, if you want to obtain a good pension then pull your finger out at your young age. It's true indeed. It does the trick at the end though it's not hit the big time but they're happy to keep their children at school and having own house, yet a good connection in reign network.

But here, in western country, we have different rules about pension. According to my friends whom european themselves, pension in Europe begins at age 67. So here we come with an incident disscussion about pension.

And here is a question for them: "Will you be happy to do that?" i.e. to keep working at age 60's. Well, I'll be definetely not very happy to work at 60's something. But again, here we are, in a freedom country, people can work as long they want to do it: so means in whatever conditions?

My hubby has inferred to this that they are required to keep work at age 60's because we have better medicions than before. Ouch. So, medicine helps people to keep their job longer?

Perhaps, you can get an inspiration through the picture below how an office looks like if the tasks done by senior people.

"Forever young, I want to be, forever young" ---- I don't want to be a victim of this dreamy lyrics.

Life Is Beautiful | Directed by Roberto Benigni

If you want to know the detail information about this movie, please check it out at Wikipedia's site, you'll be grateful how Wikipedea can give you with fully detail about this movie.

The movie was set up in Italy and spoken in Italian so you need an English subtitles to wacth this movie.

It's told that this movie has won for 7 academy awards --- so I recommend you to watch this movie! I've watched this movie quite often :). I would watch this movie again and again as soon as I got it :).

This movie is about a sacrafice of a man, a husband, as well as  a father.

There are special scenes I like most from this movie, namely:

1. When Guido attempts to obtain a woman he admires with, Dora, a rich woman whom he has met incidently; especially in  a party that meant to be the woman's engage party.

My comment to this scene: Sometimes it's not about somebody's performance that can make we're in love with him/her. A genuine from him/her is the most joyful in a relationship. As well as an intellectual is not always uppermost of criterias to someone we want to be with.

2. The scene in a train station when Guido and his family was taken by the Nazi and his wife put herself in a risk despite she's not a jewish herself --- when an army nazy said to her to go home (as she's not jewish), she asked him to put her in the train together with other jewish.

My comment to this scene: All the differences such as religion, culture, colour skins can't talk when love needs a scrafice. Who wants to let people we love get hurt, anyway? Well, I won't --- and I don't think you either.

3. The scene when Guido's father was trying to help a nazy woman by touching her arms and she looked at him in a contempt expression.

My comment to this scene: All the differences can be a bitter fact to face when somebody backpack because of you different from them --- and it still happens up today.

4. When Guido attempts to make his boy to believe that everything happens is a game to win a big prize.

My comment to this scene: Good parents always do their best to make their child to appreciate life, to be better person, to not give up with this life --- however, only little of us learn it.

5. The last scene, when Guido was caught by nazy, still he reveals himself at front of child who hidden in a box in exciting smile and attitude before the nazy takes his life in shot gun.

My comment to this scene: Always respect your parents no matter what. They bring you to the world with life or dead. You can't pay this back with anything you have.

Main Page Problem On BlogSpot template

Ufffh, it's been dead tired hours for me when I try to fix my template. As well as trying to look the solution through bloggers forum, and none of them really help my problem!

I wasn't sure what the problem cause, didn't even ask other people if my blog looks okay or not. It seems to be a problem on my blog main page when I try to view it.

My problem is the side bar on my blog has been taking over to the main post page.  First thing on my head was there must be about cookies or cache. So I deleted them.

However, it did not fix anything.
I read some articles which having the same problems as mine, most of their problem got a help response from others. Some seems can solve their blog problems, some just no idea what to do with their blog.

I have tried to do all the suggestions from the forum --- they still did not work. That's deadly frustrating!

However, I turned again to the previous setting (I'm using a template from blogspot provider), and changing the template from one design to another. And aha! I found what the cause was!

It seems that html has been changed by the autor (to my point of view) as I didn't see the problem in the other template; it can be from the missing tag i.e.
, --- however, I won't spend my time to check detailing all the tags.

So the best thing to do is change the template! And, is the problem fixed? Unfortunately, nope.

The new problem is came in the new template --- I've missed some of my posts. It seems that I can't use the Hierarcy setting to get the whole posts --- which probably the author of the template has set it up. So seem no choice for me to take the drop menu setting.

I'm not in a good day to fix the whole things on my blog so as long it doesn't look bad in its performance, I will then leave it on the blue colour for now :).

Chill Factor By Sandra Brown

Hello thriller lovers,

Back again to Sandra Brown! Today, I like to bring you to another a great story of Sandra Brown's books. It's one of my books Sandra Brown's collection, so are you ready?

What can a woman do when she stucks in the middle of a quite mountain with storm, especially with a stranger?

Lilly is one of  local people who live with her husband who also a local chief  police,  in a cabin located at Cleary, North Carolina, is a sleepy mountain town.

The local people have been shocked by four disappeare people at Cleary's areas. Cleary isn't big area so that make local people just thought their disappearance probably casued by the weather conditon.

After Lilly and her husband decision to divorce, her husband left the cabin, and followed by Lilly few minutes later.

Not far from the cabin Lilly's car suddenly hit somebody who then she found out soon that it's an injured man, which also cause Lilly's car trapped in the snow.

Later, Lilly soon realised that the injured man was Terry whom she met last summer in a local party.Terry was often visiting Cleary, none of local people know what exactly Terry is looking for on the top of mountain.

Terry's rumour had effected Lilly's instinct after they're stuck together for hours, that something about Terry. Lilly then related Terry's profile with four disappear people. She then knew, the real dangerous wasn't the big storm, but a man whom with her now...

Local people never realise that there is a psycho who's been living normally with them and the one who killed people and buried them on that area.

How can the local people and FBI find out about the psycho killer?

Snow In December

It seems all about snow in my blog recently. Well, I guess because neurons in my brain needs a break for a while to write about psychology :).

The snow in Ireland haven't stopped since last week and it effects people's activity. The weather condition seems to make worst that alrady happen in Ireland :(. Anyway, it's out of the topic for today.

I got some shots from train station nearly my house yesterday. So here you go :).

Clongriffin Dart Station
People normally call different names for train station. For Dublin and near its area we call it Dart station; for far areas such as from Dublin to county like Cork we call it Train Station; and from city to city we call it Luas.

From the top floor of the train station

I was wacthing this great view while waiting the train to town --- and thinking about Indonesia: my beloved family and my friends, wondering what they're doing right now while I'm sitting here?

Stairs covered by snow

The stairs were very icy, have to be very carefull when step on them. My boots not really good for snow season. Need the new one :).
Irish &  English versions

Cluain Ghrifin is an Irish word, it's very difficult to pronounce it therefore they put in English pronounciation. Although Gaelic is Irish languange, but English has been spoken sinvce long ago in Ireland --- so English is the main languange in Ireland.

In some area like Dingle people speak Gaeli so their languange still exist :). It's believed that Gaelic is one of the oldest languange in the world, wow, I'm impressed and so lucky to be here :).

1 Dec 2010

Hello, December

It's been three days snowing and rainning in Ireland. The snow is fine because I and most everyone love snow (as long it's not everyday!), but snowing and rainning? That is not really good combination.

Yesterday, I tried to o for swimming though the weather did'nt really support me to go anywhere, but it's been a week I haven't exercise so I thought it would be good if I just go.

The road was wet from snow and rain, and it was very cold yesterday (up to day). I could even feel it how cold it was on my feet though I have used a pair of thick socks.

It's snowing outside, and I love to see it through the window, from here, while very warm inside the house and while I'm typing this :).

Actually, I'm on my break time studying, so I can't write a lot this time as I have to continue to study :). I have my CA for the psychoanalysis tomorrow, so wish me luck everyone!
